If you are a visitor please sign the Visitors’ Book, which is on the table in the front vestibule.

There will be a short meeting of the Congregational Board today following morning service. This is to approve improvements to the manse.

Additional Intimations

There are now two locked wall mounted cabinets containing elements of the sound system for the meeting room adjacent to the upper hall. The new one houses the loop system for the meeting room but at the rear are the mains switches for the new and the original sound units. An additional key has therefore been added to the key ring for the original cupboard so that both padlocks can be opened. If anyone has any questions please speak to Alasdair Shaw.

Reading Rota. Anyone wishing to be added to, or removed from the Reading Rota is asked to contact David Howat.

Blairgowrie branch Perth and Kinross Foodbank

The local group are, as last year, providing Christmas gift bags to children in families who might benefit from a little extra help at Christmas. We should not have to raise funds on the scale we did last time.

If you can help please contact Sheila Watkins on 01250 873505 or email:

EPACTS - Christmas Hampers

The Churches in the EPACTS are working with the Strathmore Social Work Department to provide meals for families, known to them, who are facing problems at this time of the year.

We have agreed to provide food for a Christmas Day meal for a large family, consisting of 2 adults and 11 children aged from 6 to 20.

There is a sheet on the notice-board in the Lower Hall with further details of what is requested, and for people to sign-up for donations.

Food that is purchased will need to be either tinned or have a shelf life beyond December 25th. The hamper or box is to be delivered to the Social Work Office at 2, Balmoral Road, Rattray by Thursday 20thDecember.

If you would like to be involved, or would like further details contact David Howat, or Alastair Macdonald.

The editor of the weekly Order of Service and Intimations is David Howat. He can be contacted by phone (01250 874715) or by E-mail ( David also maintains a plastic folder in the Lower Hall of the Church into which you can place information. It is of great help if you can regard THURSDAY EVENING as the deadline for notifying David about content for the following Sunday's edition. Many thanks.
